Linden is a beautiful and versatile herb. It tastes delicious, is gentle enough for children and the elderly, and proves to be beneficial for both serious acute and chronic problems.
My personal experience with using linden has been great, I thoroughly enjoy it in a tea when I feel strung out, have heart palpitations, and feel like a need relaxation. I drank this in a tea very often as I was recovering from covid and long covid, and it provided me with much comfort and support in my recovery.
Tall & beautiful Linden trees line many city streets in Europe, and you’ll feel lucky when you stumble upon one here in the US! ; the flowers are heart-shaped and leaves smell so pleasant and taste like honey with a hint of cherry. French herbalists call it the “tea of happiness”. In the middle ages, Linden trees were planted near hospitals because they made the air healthier + calmer, and was considered protective.
